Chris Evans has launched his annual short story competition 500 Words, for the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
The competition is in its eighth year running and with over 131,000 entries last year it seems to be going from strength to strength.
The challenge is open to children aged five to 10 and they are simply asked to write no more than 500 words.
Seems straightforward enough, right?
This year the prize will include a ride around the Hampton Court Palace in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, plus Tea on the Thames on the Queen’s rowbarge, Gloriana.
